Chernobyl Medic Box Fragment in Acrylic

Some objects are conversation starters. This one does that and then leaves everyone sitting awkwardly in silence. It’s a small clear acrylic block with a single fragment of corroded metal sealed inside it. The metal was recovered from the medic box at Chernobyl, so it is, depending on how you feel about the word, history. Macabre, maybe. But it does include a certificate of authenticity…so…every cloud.

A few facts:

• Roughly 4 x 3 x 1 inches of cast lucite, free-standing on a shelf or desk
• Contains one authentic recovered fragment of medic box metal
• Ships with a Certificate of Authenticity in the box
